Most onchain-enabled businesses lose more users at the connect step than anywhere else in the product. Someone arrives interested, meets a connection flow that does not support the wallet or account they have, and leaves before interacting with your product.
Fixing that properly means supporting every wallet or account your users have—even if they know nothing about onchain finance at all. It means supporting every chain they might hold assets on, every asset they already have; and also providing a simple method for them to onboard if they don’t yet have any assets onchain.
That’s exactly where WalletConnect comes in. By providing connectivity to all types of businesses, WalletConnect unlocks onchain exploration, for developers, financial institutions, apps, platforms, marketplaces and more.
Let’s dive into how it works:
What is WalletConnect Connectivity for businesses?
WalletConnect connectivity provides a way for businesses to onboard every user, connect across every major chain, and add in-app functionality—without having to build each wallet integration separately.
Its core function is connectivity but it also does a lot more; providing pre-built components, buttons and modals, plus UI and UX capabilities that unlock instant capabilities in your app or platform.
To explain, an app that only solves connection still sends users elsewhere to fund, swap or manage accounts. That’s why Connectivity for businesses covers the entire onboarding process including, authentication, multichain connection, onramps, swaps, balances and analytics—so those journeys stay inside your product.
Favored by fintechs, DeFi apps, marketplaces, games and more, WalletConnect Connectivity for businesses offers the best solution for cutting down time to production and unlocking security and reliability.
What you get with Connectivity for businesses
With Connectivity businesses you can unlock WalletConnect products for stablecoin and crypto payments and compliance, but at its core, Connectivity includes the following:
Connections to 700+ wallets and all major chains
Users sign in with any wallet they already have, across the largest wallet network comprising retail, hardware and institutional wallets. Rather than relying on the handful of wallets you had time to integrate, Connectivity unlocks all major wallets across every major chain, including all EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, Ton, Tron & more through custom connectors.
Onboard people without wallets
Email and social logins mean someone with a Google, Apple, Farcaster, Github or Facebook account can start using your app immediately. For consumer apps this is the difference between a niche audience and a mainstream one.
Instant capabilities
Unlock in-app onramps and swaps that keep users on-platform instead of sending them to a third-party site they may not return from. Add drop-in buttons and screens for connection, account management and network switching immediately, or go headless and build your own interface on top.
Ensure uptime
Make sure your business doesn’t falter, with the option to add guaranteed SLAs so you can reach every user all the time.
Effortless Security
Set verified domains so the verify API can let your end-users know they are connecting to the official platform; providing an easy way to build trust.
Who Connectivity for businesses is for
DeFi apps
DeFi apps can quickly add support for 700+ retail, hardware and institutional wallets, eliminating the need to build and maintain relationships with multiple wallet providers. This unlocks revenue from not just the major wallets, but countless smaller wallets; providing a fallback for DeFi apps that want to reach every user. Beyond that, Connectivity for businesses also offers verified domains so end-users know they are connecting to the real app. This is integral for defi apps, seeing as transactions are immutable and malicious smart contracts are still a huge risk to user funds.
Marketplaces and consumer platforms
Marketplaces and consumer platforms that operate stablecoin or crypto checkouts also benefit from Connectivity. You can onboard users through wallets they already own, or alternatively, allow users to login with their existing email or social account, and a non-custodial wallet is created for them in the background. Beyond that, you can implement in-platform onramps and swaps to allow your users to get the token or coin they need to interact with your platform. Of course, if you’re still in the build phase, you could also implement WalletConnect Pay to unlock pre-built end-to-end flows for accepting stablecoins, with which you receive Connectivity for businesses included.
iGaming & Prediction markets
Beyond wallet connections, iGaming and prediction markets rely on reliable service, performant stablecoin payouts and compliance features to support those payouts. With Connectivity for businesses, they receive connections to 700+ wallets, including retail, hardware and institutional wallets, as well as email and social logins to onboard users without crypto wallets. But beyond that, they can also receive access to WalletConnect’s other products, such as end-to-end flows for processing stablecoin or crypto payouts and wallet verification so they can ensure the payouts are compliant. Finally, Connectivity for businesses also offers the option to add guaranteed SLAs to ensure players aren’t interrupted by downtime.
Fintechs and Enterprises
Fintechs and enterprises may want to enable onchain capabilities to their existing products. With Connectivity for Businesses, you receive a plug-and-play connection modal that unlocks not just retail and hardware wallets for end-users, but also institutional wallets if you’re also serving businesses. Beyond connections, Connectivity for businesses also unlocks reliability through guaranteed SLAs, and offers the most trusted solution for enterprises, with WalletConnect’s SOC 2 Type ii certification and battle-tested infrastructure running since 2018. For fintechs like Neobanks, who want to launch their own wallets and offer stablecoin payments, you can also leverage Connectivity for wallets, allowing your users to connect to countless businesses through your wallet in an instant.

Stop losing users at the connect step
The users you lose before they reach your product are the most expensive ones, because you paid to get them there. Connectivity for businesses removes that loss: every wallet, every major chain, sign-in for people without a wallet at all, and the funding and swapping journeys kept inside your app.
Explore the Connectivity for businesses, or get started in the dashboard. If you are building a wallet rather than an app, the Connectivity for wallets is the other side of the same connection.
Connectivity for Businesses FAQ
Do users need a wallet to use my app?
No. Email and social logins onboard users who have never held a wallet, and they can be upgraded to a wallet later.
Which chains does it support?
EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, TON and Tron by default, but WalletConnect is chain-agnostic, so it also works with custom networks you add.
Can I use my own interface?
Yes. Use the ready-made components, go fully headless and build your own, or white-label the modals to match your product.
Can users fund their account in my app?
Users can onramp fiat into their own connected wallet. Depositing into an account your platform holds is a different product, Account Top-ups and Deposits.
How is this different from Connectivity for wallets?
Opposite ends of the same connection. Connectivity for businesses connects businesses to every wallet. Connectivity for Wallets connects a wallet to the app and business ecosystem.
